Summary:

This course presents and evaluates commonly practiced models and methodologies for network maintenance, introduces the processes and procedures that are fundamental parts of any network maintenance methodology, and identifies and evaluates tools, applications, and resources that support network maintenance processes.

Objectives:

  • Describe the maintenance models and how to apply them
  • List the common procedures and tools to maintain a network
  • Manage network tasks including planning and scheduling
  • Describe the importance of network documentation and communication
  • Demonstrate the methods used to back up and restore data on a network
