Summary:

This course explains how the implementation of access control and identity management affects the security of your system. This course also explains the difference between identification and authentication, the various types of authentication services in use today, and the advantages and disadvantages of each of these services.

  • Distinguish and differentiate network design elements and compounds
  • Analyze and differentiate among types of attacks
  • Explain the function and purpose of authentication services
  • Explain the fundamental concepts and best practices related to authentication, authorization, and access control
