Summary:

This course gives an overview of the functionality provided by Flashback technology in Oracle 11g, including the recovery of dropped objects, querying data as it existed at a point in time in the past, and returning the entire database to a point in time or SCN.

Objectives:

  • Restore dropped tables from the Recycle Bin
  • Use Flashback Query and Flashback Transaction Query
  • Perform Flashback Table operations
  • Configure, monitor, and perform Flashback Database operations
  • Set up and use a Flashback Data Archive
