Summary:

This course describes how to implement, configure, manage, and troubleshoot security features.

Objectives:

  • Define and configure local and group policies
  • Implement an audit policy, user rights assignments, and security options
  • Use and modify Administrative templates
  • Implement local password policies and local account lockout policies
  • Troubleshoot account policies
  • Utilize the Security log and troubleshoot auditing problems
  • Encrypt data on a hard disk by using Encrypting File System (EFS)
  • Recover encrypted files
  • Create a Security Configuration tool set console
