Summary:

This course focuses on sharing files so that users can access files from a Windows Vista computer directly or over the network, and it explains how to control such access so that the folders remain secure using share permissions, NTFS permissions, and encryption.

Objectives:

  • List and describe the advantages and permissions of NTFS
  • Configure NTFS permissions
  • Encrypt files using the Encryption File System (EFS)
  • Compress and share a folder using Windows Explorer
