Summary:

This course shows how to manage files, folders, and file systems. In addition, it describes the process and capabilities of managing resources shared on a network.

Objectives:

  • Configure and manage compression and encryption for files and folders
  • Configure file systems using FAT, FAT32, or NTFS
  • Convert from one file system to another
  • Control access to files and folders by using NTFS permissions
  • Explain network printing under Windows XP
  • Set up and manage a print server with Windows XP
