Summary:

This course provides an overview of the TCP/IP suite and its applications, and follows with troubleshooting issues regarding those protocols. IP Addresses are used to route data across the Internet and the world. The LAN protocols covered in the course include TCP/IP and Novell IPX.

Objectives:

  • Understand ICMP Protocol Commands and the meanings of the characters displayed by the trace command output
  • Describe how to find the valid subnets, valid hosts, and the broadcast address for each subnet
  • Use show ip commands and syntaxes
  • Articulate how and when to use Debug ip commands
