Summary:

This course explains how to mitigate network attacks as approaches to deploying effective Cisco network security services. This course gives information about trust and identity concepts such as Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting using TACACS+ and RADIUS; and, it provides the fundamentals of using Cisco router functionality to implement policies that deliver the type of security that the evolving organization requires. Incorporating network security strategy guidelines into an enterprise business plan is also discussed.

Objectives:

  • Describe and mitigate common network attacks
  • Configure network security to mitigate malicious code attacks
  • Configure and verify TACACS+ / RADIUS server accounting information
