This course discusses the use of Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and the different tools used to administer ASM.
Objectives:
Describe how to use Oracle Automatic Storage Management
Set up the initialization parameter file for ASM
Execute SQL commands with ASM file names
Start up and shut down ASM instances
Administer ASM disk groups and use RMAN to migrate to ASM
