Summary:

This course describes the foundations of the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Unified Modeling Language (UML). The course illustrates how to use UML diagrams to model the fundamental characteristics and behavior of a system.

Objectives:

  • Summarize and describe major benefits and features of Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
  • Illustrate WRAD 7.0 support for RUP and UML
  • Define best practices in software design and how they are supported by RUP, UML and WRAD
